Muscular dystrophy is a genetic disorder.
i. It is genetically inherited.
ii. Some people get affected by MD due to mutated dystrophin gene and nutritional defects at the pre-natal age.
iii. Predominantly males are affected by DMD although females can be carriers of it.
iv. Dystrophin is a protein found in tendons.
The multicellular haploid plant structure is called the gametophyte, which is formed from the spore and give rise to the haploid gametes. The fluctuation between these diploid and haploid stages that occurs in plants is called the alternation of generations.
